Captain of my Heart

Your Art
This is a very quick and easy Scrap Tut
1. Open a new image 650 x 650 and flood fill with white. Add a new layer.
Selections - select all. Choose one of the papers from the kit and copy and
paste into selection. Deselect. Have the mask open in psp. Go to layers - new
mask layer from image. In the drop down box choose the mask and apply. Right
click on the mask layer in your layer pallete and merge group.
2. Copy and paste the frame as a new layer. Resize as needed. Take your magic
wand and click inside of the opening in the frame. Go to selections - modify -
expand by 3. Choose another paper from the kit - resize as needed - and paste as
a new layer. Go to selections invert - hit your delete key to remove the excess
paper outside the frame. Deselect and move your paper background under the frame
layer.
3. Click back on your frame layer and take your magic wand again and click
inside the frame opening. Go to selections - modify - expand by 3. Copy and
paste your tube as a new layer. Selections - invert - hit your delete key to
remove the excess outside of the frame. Deselect and move your tube layer
beneath the frame.
4. Copy and paste one of the letters as a new layer. Resize as needed and move
this down so its on top of the mask layer. Position as I have mine. Copy and
paste the envelope, resizing as needed and position under the letter. Refer to
my tag for placement.
5. Choose what other elements you want to add to your tag and resize and copy
and paste them on new layers. Add drop shadows of choice.
6. Add a new layer and add your text. Once you are happy with the placement of
everything - resize, bicubic resample and all layers checked.
7. Add a new layer and add your copyrights and watermark. Export image to jpg or
png optimizer and save. Should you want a transparent background, close off the
bottom white layer and save as a png file.
