Do not use the same artwork/tubes in your tag unless you
hold the proper license to do so. Artwork is paid for and
licensed to me to use.
1. Open a new image 600 x 600 and
flood fill with white. Open the scrap paper provided or use one of your own and
copy and paste as a new layer.
2. Open the mask provided. Layers new mask layer from image. In the drop down
box find the mask that you have open and apply. Right click on the mask layer
and merge group.
3. Copy and paste the frame as a new layer. Resize as needed. Open up the 3
tubes that you plan to use for your frame. Take your magic wand and click inside
one of the openings in the frame. Selections - modify - expand by 4. Copy and
paste your tube, resize and position until you are happy with the placement and
what is showing inside the frame area. Selections - invert - delete. Deselect
and move this layer under the frame layer. Follow these same steps to fill the
other two openings in your frame.
4. Close off your background layer and mask layer and merge visible. Open back
up your background and mask layer. Click on your merged layer and copy the word
art and paste as a new layer. Move to the right, refer to my tag, and resize to
your liking. Take your selection tool - freehand set to point to point and
select the part that you want to cut away so it looks like the word art is
wrapped around the frame...see my tag for reference. Once happy with your
selection - delete. Deselect.
5. Open the small heart and resize it to your liking. Copy and paste as a new
layer. Open the smitten charm, resize and paste as a new layer. Add any other
elements that you desire.
6. Open the doodle art and click on your mask layer. Copy and paste as a new
layer. You can leave it black or color it to match your tag. To color it you
will need to go to adjust - brightness and contrast - brightness 130 contrast 30
those are the settings I use but you can play around with it. Then go to adjust
- hue and saturation - and colorize it to your choice. If the color is still not
what you want you can go back to brightness and contrast and darken it some. You
just have to play with the settings until you get something you like.
7. Add a new layer and add your text. Resize by 85%, bicubic, all layers
checked. Now add a new layer and add your copyrights and watermark. Resizing
before adding this will keep the copyright info clearer especially if you use a
very small font. Export to your jpg or png optimizer and save.
That's it!!
