FTU Scrap Kit "Dirty Grungy Rock Star" by Scripityscrap

At this time the links are not working for the kit and I have written to the creator to see if she can fix it. I have added another supply zip of a grey scaled music note and a star that you can colorize to match the scraps you use.

Tube and font of choice

1. Open up your template in psp and delete off the copyright layer. On your template layers palette highlight the layer Circle 1. Go to selections - select all - float - defloat. Choose one of the papers from the kit, resize by around 15% using the "smart size" option. Copy and paste as a new layer on the template. Selections - invert - delete. Deselect. Close off the circle 1 layer.

2. Highlight Circle 2 layer. Go to selections - select all - float - defloat. Choose another paper, resize and paste as a new layer. Selections invert - delete - deselect. Close off the circle 2 layer. Continue following these steps for the two rectangle layers as well. Add drop shadows of choice.

3. Highlight the white background layer and add a new layer. Selections - select all. Choose another paper from the kit, I colorized mine, and paste into selection. Deselect. Have the mask open in psp and go to layers - new mask layer - from image. Find the name of the mask in the drop down list and apply. Right click on the mask layer in the layer palette and merge group.

4.Add the other elements by resizing and copy and pasting on separate layers, drop shadow of choice. Refer to my tag for placement.

5. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and add a drop shadow of choice, resizing if needed. Choose a bold font, add a new layer and add the text "Star" or whatever you prefer. Bring this layer down beneath your tube.

6. Add a new layer for your text. Image resize by 80%, all layers, bicubic resample checked.

7. Add a new layer and add your copyright and watermark. We are now ready to do the animation.

8. Open up animation shop. Back in psp go to your image and right click - copy merged. Go back to animation shop and paste as a new animation. Open you music note bling and delete off the first dark blue frame. You will now have 3 frames.

9. Back to your tag, you will need to duplicate the first frame twice so that you will also have 3 frames. Once you have the 3 frames go to edit select all to hightlight all the frames in your tag.

10.Now go back to the music note bling and go to edit select all. Copy.

11. Back to your tag now and go to edit - paste in selected frame. The bling will show up on your arrow tool and you will want to click on the first frame and place it where you want it to show up. Then it will show up in all your frames. If you are unhappy with where you placed it just use the undo button and you can repaste again.

12. Run the optimizer with your normal settings and save as a gif.

Thats it!
