Summer Beauties

This tutorial was written for those with working knowledge of psp.

 

Supplies

4 Tubes by the same artist and font of choice
Mask by Vix

Artwork is paid for and licensed to me.  Do not use the same graphics unless you hold a license to do so.

 

1. Open a new image 600 x 600 and flood fill with white. Copy and paste the frame as a new layer and resize as needed.

2. Take your magic wand and click inside all three of the frame openings. Go to selection modify - expand by 2. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Go to selections - invert and delete to remove the excess. Deselect and move this layer beneath your frame layer.

3. Have the tube open in psp that you plan to use. Go back to your frame
layer and click inside one of the openings. Selection - modify - expand by 2. Copy and paste your first tube as a new layer and position to where you like it in the frame. Once happy with it go to selections invert - delete to remove the part outside of the frame. Deselect. Move this layer beneath the frame layer and add a drop shadow of choice.

4. Repeat step 3 to fill the other open frames. Once you have all that completed, turn off your white background layer and merge visible. Give the frame a drop shadow of choice.


5. Click back on your white background layer. Go to selections - select all. Add a new layer, Choose another paper from the kit and copy and paste it into your selection. Deselect.

6. Have your mask open in psp. Go to layers new mask layer from image and find the name of the mask in the drop down box and apply. Right click on the mask layer and merge group.


7. Add other elements of choice from the kit resizing as needed on separate layers. I used 2 of the butterflys, the 2 ants, one flower, one curled ribbon and one of the buckled flowers. Refer to my tag. Add drop shadows of choice.

8. Copy and paste your main tube as a new layer and position to your liking. Add a drop shadow of choice and resize if needed.

9. Copy and paste the word art as a new layer resize as needed. Add a drop shadow of V & H 1, Opacity 70, Blur 2.00 to make it stand out more.

10. Add a new layer for your text. Resize by 85%, all layers checked, bicubic resample. Then add a new layer for your copyright and watermark. Export to your jpg or png optimizer and save!
