Do not use the same artwork/tubes in your tag unless you
hold the proper license to do so. Artwork is paid for and
licensed to me to use.
1. Open a new image 600 x 600 and flood fill with white. Open the heart stripe
paper and copy and paste as a new layer. Rotate 90 degrees left. Use your deform
tool to drag it out so that it mostly fills the canvas.
2. Open the mask provided. Go to layers - new mask layer from image. In the drop
down list select the mask provided and apply. Right click on the mask layer and
merge group. I resized by 90%.
3. Open the frame and copy and paste as a new layer. Take your selection tool
set to rectangle and draw out a selection around the open part in your frame but
a little larger than the opening. Open the pink scrap paper and copy and paste
as a new layer. While on the scrap paper layer go to selection invert and delete
to remove the excess paper outside of the frame. Deselect and move this layer
under the frame layer.
4. Open the tube you plan to use. Go back to the frame layer and take the
selection tool again and make another selection around the frame open area like
you did before. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Once you have it placed
to where you like it in the frame - go to selections invert and delete.
Deselect. Move this layer under the frame layer also. Turn off the background
and mask layers and merge the pink paper, frame and tube.
5. Add what ever other elements you want to your tag. Refer to mine for
placement. Open the doodle provided and click on the mask layer in your layer
palette. Copy and paste as a new layer. Now you can leave it black if you choose
but if you want it to match your tag, go to adjust brightness and contrast - I
used brightness 130 and contrast 30 to make it a light grey color and then
colorized it. It was not dark enough for me so I went back to brightness and
contrast and played with the settings until I got the desired color.
6. Duplicate the doodle layer and arrange them both to your liking. Resize your
tag by 85%, bicubic resample all layers checked.
7. Add a new layer and add your text. Add a new layer for your copyright and
watermark info. Export to your jpg or png optimizer and save.
That's it!
